All fish tanks or aquariums need to go through a biological process. by doing this you will need to set up your aquarium add a filter and add the required water treatments. usually the good bacteria when starting up a fish tank for the first time it can take about 7 to 10 days to complete.
depending on the substrate it the water usually starts with Ammonia then -Nitrate and finally Nitrite. Beyond Aquatics Recommends testing your water every couple of days. By doing this it helps you keep a track of when you can add fish to your aquarium after the cycle is complete.
Beyond Aquatics also recommends netting out your fish. do not add water in the bag to your aquarium just incase of any fish diseases.
